Experience an African adventure at Geiger’s Camp, where extraordinary attention to detail and immense personal care are the standard. Here, perched on a ridge within Motswari Private Game Reserve, you’ll be presented with panoramic views of the Sharalumi River and Big Five terrain. It’s a haven of privacy and tranquillity.
Geiger’s Camp was originally a traditional family house and thus maintains a homely atmosphere, beyond its luxuriousness.
Ideally suited to families or small groups of up to eight persons travelling together, this exclusive hideaway offers proximity to nature and comprises four luxury private rooms, each with a private deck overlooking the bush.
The property embodies luxury in every sense of the word. Rooms are spacious, between 40 and 50 m². Each one is well-appointed and includes sophisticated finishes and furnishings, beyond what you would expect in a bushveld setting.
Each room features:
Starlit skies and views of the Xanatsi Dam are all the features this luxury open-air treehouse needs, yet it is thoughtfully furnished to bring stylish comfort to the outdoors. Shortly before sunset, a guide will escort you to the dam, where complete privacy and an unforgettable experience awaits.
The Giraffe’s Nest Hide sleeps two guests and is:
Explore the best of the Greater Kruger National Park; the Timbavati and Umbabat Nature Reserve’s unspoilt 18 000 hectares and Motswari’s range of amenities and activities, from game viewing and bird watching to unwinding in your luxurious abode.
These exceptional game drive experiences take place in a shared open Land Rover and are led by professional field guides and trackers who share valuable insight into the wild.
Discover nature’s details on special guided safari walks which take place after the morning game drive and breakfast. This experience is led by a professional guide and provides you with the opportunity to view small fauna and flora from a unique perspective. The safari walk takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, covering five to six kilometres, but can go up to three hours, depending on the guests and guides
Guests will be able to learn more about animal tracking, the incredible variety of local flora and witness small species of fauna in action, including fantastic bird sightings.
Guests are welcome to spend time in our library, unwinding at the fireplace on cooler days, getting lost in a book or discovering more about Motswari Private Game Reserve’s history. If you’re an art lover, you’ll be thrilled by the chance to browse the incredible work created by Motswari owner, Marion Geiger-Orengo and other local artists from the region.
